About Our Travel Program

All AMSC teams are professionally coached by Trainers.
Teams practice twice a week
We have a unique age-appropriate curriculum designed to help each player reach their full potential.

Our philosophy is simple - Positivity - Practice - Play. We have an open house policy. We encourage our trainers to share season outlines and match reports with parents to ensure everyone is on the same page when it comes to your child's development.

Our teams play in MOSA or EDP leagues and compete at the level that best fits the group.

Registration

AMSC will be holding tryouts to form teams for the 24/25 season.
May 7, 2024 at Matawan Regional HS
6:30pm 2013 and 2014 Girls, 2014 & 2015 Boys
8:00pm 2011 and 2013 Boys, 2012 Girls
May 9, 2024 at Strathmore Elementary School
5:00pm 2016-2017-2018 Boys and Girls.
**if you do not see an appropriate age group please contact us. Expect to tryout with the age group above you (ie:2012 will try out with 2011)

To attend a tryout, players must register using the link below, tryouts are of no cost, final registration and payment will be due once decisions are made for each team and positions are accepted. The Teams are listed by birth year. All current AMSC players must still register. If you cannot make a tryout but still wish to participate, please email [email protected] to arrange an alternative tryout time..

U7 Pre-Travel Academy Information

For players born in the year 2017/2018
Teams practice twice per week and play in a 4V4 festival style events. Why 4v4? READ HERE

This format follows the Unites States Soccer Federation Guidelines for this age group:

Team rosters consist of 12-14 players.
Games are played with 4 players on the field with no goal keepers.
2 games are played at the same time and the team is divided into two teams when playing the games.
Teams are coached by a volunteer parent. Practices are run by a certified USSF soccer trainer
There are no standings.

2024-2025 AMSC Travel Soccer

Aberdeen Matawan Travel Soccer program plays within the MOSA League which is mostly in Monomuth Ocean counties, sometimes it

expands further to a few other towns depending on the flight and division.

The program is a year program Fall and Spring. Winter training options are determined by individual teams.

Teams are lead by Certified Trainers and Parent Team Managers.

Teams practice 2xs a week and games are scheduled for Sundays.

Our home field is Strathmore Elementary school, Gravely Brook Park, and Matawan Regional HS.

Accepted players are expected to fully register with the club, purchase the club uniform, and pay any training fees or tournament fees the teams determine.
